The Company:

Nexus Engage are a young, ambitious and award-winning company who specialise in consumer engagement in retail environments. Based in London we operate across the UK and Europe. Nexus Engage work with hundreds of UK shopping centres including most of the ‘UK Top 100’.

Nexus Engage are part of the NEARBUY GROUP, a leading Dubai-based retail and Ad-tech company that has built an enviable track record engaging consumers with retail focused, visitor attractions through its highly innovative, identifiable digital platform.

The Role:

Nexus Engage require a Business Development Executive to join our expanding team and to drive sales of our new product in shopping centres.

You will be responsible for proactively engaging with shopping centres in your territory to identify opportunities. The role requires you to visit prospective clients in order to understand their specific requirements and you should assume that 3 out of 5 days will be spent onsite. Due to the varying types of shopping centre management structures you may be required to present to and work with the onsite centre team, the central management organisation or an agency.

This is a new role and a crucially important new product for Nexus Engage and so the role and the targets are challenging to reflect this.

Ultimately, we are looking for a passionate, dynamic and ambitious individual to add value to our growing business. A good sense of humour and a strong work ethic are vital. Most of all you should love a challenge!

Essential Experience and Skill Set:

  • B2B Sales experience
  • A passion for technology and its potential to transform experiences
  • Experience in building relationships and partnerships
  • Enjoys a challenge with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent communication and time management
  • Confident and with experience of presenting to an audience
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently and remotely
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Full UK driving licence
  • IT literate with Mac, Windows and Office experience
