Business Development Executive - Manchester Area

Job Title: Business Development Executive – The Nexus

Manager Department: Commercial

Reports To: Head of Sales

Salary: £22,000 to £25,000 Commensurate with experience

 

The Company:

Nexus Engage are a young, ambitious and award-winning company who specialise in consumer engagement in retail environments. Based in North London we operate across the UK and Europe and work with most of the UK Top 100 shopping centres.

The Role:

Nexus Engage require a Business Development Executive of graduate calibre to join our expanding team and to drive sales of our new exciting product into shopping centres.

You will be responsible for proactively engaging with shopping centres in your territory to identify opportunities, working with both existing and new clients. The role requires you to visit prospective clients in order to understand their specific requirements and you should assume that 4 out of 5 days will be spent on the road. Due to the varying types of shopping centre management structures you may be required to present to the onsite team, or to the central management organisation.

This is a brand-new role and an innovative exciting new product for Nexus Engage therefore the role and targets are challenging to reflect this.

Ultimately, we are looking for a passionate, dynamic and ambitious individual to add value to our growing business. A good sense of humour and a strong work ethic are vital. Most of all you should love a challenge!

Essential Experience and Skill Set:

  • B2B Sales experience
  • Proven experience in building relationships and partnerships
  • Proven track record of working in sales, business development and winning new business
  • Enjoys a challenge with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent communication and time management
  • Confident presenter with experience of presenting at all levels
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently and remotely
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Full UK driving licence
  • IT literate with Mac, Windows and Office experience
