Nexus Engage and Bluewater have worked together on a number of occasions, with great success. Activations in Bluewater have huge levels of interaction due to the sheer size of the centre and the massive numbers of customers it serves. With an annual footfall of 27 million customers and at 1,600,000 sq ft, it is in the top 5 largest centres in the UK.
As part of their Summer Beach campaign, we deployed an interactive music ActionWall activation on a large vacant area within Bluewater. Customers are enabled to create music by touching the instruments on the wall. It provides a sense of fun and distraction from the traditional shopping journey, which can be particularly engaging to young people – and all integrated within Bluewater’s Summer marketing campaign.
