Westfield Stratford City was the ideal place to implement our food quiz. The reasons for this are simple, with its extraordinary foot fall of 47 million per annum, its the busiest shopping centre in the UK. Secondly, for a game that dispenses vouchers for restaurants, having over 80 places to eat and drink gives plenty of options for the customer.
The concept at Westfield was to generate a game that would arouse the interest of shoppers primarily, and then drive footfall into the restaurants inside Westfield secondly. The idea was hatched to create a ‘quick fire quiz’ that would determine the desired cuisine of the player, and then print them a voucher for a restaurant that serves that specific food. Ideally this generates vouchers that the individuals are more likely to cash in, leaving satisfied shoppers and busy restaurants.
